The Early Childhood Special Education Specialist Endorsement is designed for currently licensed teachers who are seeking career advancement and the expertise needed to work effectively with students with special needs and students from diverse backgrounds.
The program is fully accredited by the Colorado Department of Education and the Council for Exceptional Children.
Nine graduate-level courses, including a five-credit internship, complete the 24 credit hour program plan of study. Internships (elementary & secondary level in special education) can be completed on the job or through our professional development schools.
