Total Worker Health®

Colorado School of Public Health

Overview

The Certificate in Total Worker Health® (TWH) is designed for current public health students and working professionals who want to champion TWH initiatives. TWH is an emerging field that integrates worker safety, health and well-being to create more supportive, productive work environments. In this flexible, online program, you’ll learn how to assess organizational culture, plan and evaluate health and safety programs, and become better leaders.

The skills you’ll gain in this program can be applied to virtually any industry — from architecture to healthcare — and a variety of job roles — from small business owner to wellness coordinators. This program will prepare you to become a TWH leader in any organization, whether it’s large or small, public or private, based in an office or out in the field.

Renowned faculty from the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health and the Center for Health Work & Environment (CHWE) at the Colorado School of Public Health (ColoradoSPH) created and direct this program. CHWE is one of six Centers of Excellence for TWH supported by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, a division of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
