The Office of Equity (OE) is committed advancing an inclusive campus culture at CU Denver and CU Anschutz, where diversity is celebrated and equity is coupled with the principles of value, trust, and respect. The OE's proactive prevention education, training, and outreach initiatives are a crucial part of supporting the missions of CU Denver and CU Anschutz. As stated in the University of Colorado's 2021-2026 Strategic Plan, "We must continue and enhance our commitment to creating an inclusive culture in pursuit of our goals of excellence and meeting the needs of the state, nation and world."

On May 6, 2020, Title IX regulations (2020 Title IX regulations) were announced by the U.S. Department of Education and Office for Civil Rights with a mandate to be in effect by August 14, 2020. The University has revised our system-wide Sexual Misconduct, Intimate Partner Violence, and Stalking Policy (Sexual Misconduct Policy) pursuant to updated legal requirements from the U.S. Department of Education under Title IX.
On August 18, 2020, all employee compliance records were "reset." This means if you completed the Discrimination & Sexual Misconduct training before August 18, 2020, you are considered out of compliance with University policy and are required to retake the course.
On August 8, 2022, all dual campus employees were auto-enrolled into our online Skillsoft Percipio training to increase compliance rates, and will receive automatic reminders/past-due notifications when it is time to retake the training (every three years).
