Vision
Create an environment that supports the research and grant funding of faculty affiliated with CU Denver whose research enhances the educational experience of our students and the broader Denver Hispanic community.
Mission
To lead multidisciplinary teams to produce high quality research related to Hispanic communities. Provide support for collaboration, research engagement, scholarly production, and grant writing that advances the LRPC and the career trajectories of faculty and students. Promote the scholarly activities of LRPC affiliated faculty.
Core Principles
- Convene faculty to develop research partnerships which are sustained by grant funding and produce scholarly products that enhance and serve the broader Hispanic community.
- Support faculty and students in community-based action research methods.
- Promote students in research partnerships and expand opportunities for career development.
