2024 SWAAAC Awards
Congratulations to this year's SWAAAC Award Recipients
Christina Perkins, CCC-SLP Apr 14, 2024As the spring statewide meeting began to wind down, special guests of the meeting began to arrive. Team members, nominating colleagues, supervisors, and special education directors entered the room creating an air of excitement to the approaching awards.
Each year the SWAAAC program looks to recognize some of the dedicated, hard-working, creative professionals providing Assistive Technology services in Colorado public schools. Some of this year’s award winners were recognized for taking on a challenging new role as a team coordinator and exceeding all expectations. Some were nominated by colleagues for outstanding problem-solving, program contributions, collaborations, and leadership.
